If you want to try out a beginner class at any of our locations, your first class is obligation free.

New classes 2019
A new round of beginner classes will commence from the beginning of May 2019.
The attached Taoist Tai Chi classes schedule (PDF) summarises all ACT classes starting from the beginning of May 2019 in a 1 page document. For a document listing the classes which started in Feruary this year, please see Taoist Tai Chi February classes schedule. For more details about each location, see the links below. We are also expecting to start another round of new beginner classes in August/September.
Please note that this schedule is subject to change as circumstances arise - for example, classes may be cancelled if they don't get sufficient numbers.

Open House - Saturday 4 May
In the lead up to the next round of classes, the ACT Branch will be holding an open house at our Phillip premises. The program will start from 2:00pm and include a demonstration, a ‘have a go’ session for members of the public, a short talk by a couple of members about the health benefits they’ve experienced, followed by some afternoon tea.
The open house will start at 2:00pm and go through until 3:30pm on Saturday 4 May 2019 at our centre at 65 Dundas Court, Phillip.
Set Review Workshop
A set review workshop will be held on Saturday 22 June, 1:30-4:30pm at the Folk Dance Canberra Hall, 114 Maitland Street Hackett. Registration from 1pm (no need to pre-register). See this poster for details
Welcome to Continuing Workshop
For people finishing a Beginner class, the next step to increasing the benefit is to go to Continuing classes. This workshop will form an introduction to continuing classes and a transition and we encourage all completing beginners to attend. Continuing members are also welcome to attend. The workshop is free and is on Saturday 25 May at the Folk Dance Hall, 114 Maitland Street, Hackett. The workshop runs from 1:30pm to 4:30pm, with registration from 1:00pm.
