Short courses in Taoist Tai Chi™
Are You Short of Time?
In just an afternoon or a weekend you can do one of our ‘accelerated’ short courses and get an introduction to all or part of the Taoist Tai Chi™ internal arts of health. You will get a foundation for further development through our regular classes and workshops.
Normally it takes about four months to learn the full 108-move tai chi set in our weekly beginner tai chi classes. However, people sometimes prefer to do a more 'accelerated' short course where they can cover a lot of the moves in a shorter space of time. This preference may be due to work arrangements (eg shift work or FIFO) that limits attendance at regular scheduled classes. Or it may simply be a desire to get a quick introduction to tai chi or to push the boundaries a little.
Using the Society's proven instruction method developed by our founder Master Moy Lin-shin, you will quickly begin to experience the many benefits of this art for health and well-being. If you've never taken a class with us before, this is a thorough introduction to our form. If you are already a member, this is an excellent way to review and/or complete the set.
